If the last pair went in a drawer, it was probably a hard wedge. This is soft silicone moulded into a heel cup, so it doesn't dig in and it doesn't slide forward while you walk.
Bullet 1 Soft medical-grade silicone, not a rigid plastic ramp
Bullet 1 A heel cup that grips, so it cannot migrate in the shoe
Bullet 1 Perforated through the wall so the heel is not sealed in
Bullet 1 Rinses under the tap and dries overnight

How to wear them

Pull the sleeve onto a clean dry bare heel so the wedge sits under the heel bone, sock over the top, shoe on as normal. Rinse under the tap at the end of the day and leave to air dry.

What they are made of

One piece of translucent medical-grade silicone, moulded so the wedge and the heel cup are the same part, perforated through the wall for airflow. No adhesive, no fabric, no separate insert. Sold as a pair.

Delivery and returns

Free delivery on every order, in plain unbranded packaging. Thirty days to change your mind — email us and we refund the order.

Soft enough to forget by the afternoon.

Imagine a pair you actually keep wearing

There is a pair in your drawer already. You wore them once, properly, for a whole day, and by lunchtime your heel was burning and your knees had developed a strange new opinion about stairs.

What you had been sold was a wedge. A hard ramp that tips your foot forward, then slides about inside the shoe while it does it. So it went in the drawer, the money went with it, and you went back to being the height you were.

Imagine instead pulling something soft on in the morning and forgetting, by the afternoon, that you are wearing anything at all.

ELVO™ is designed for exactly that.

The two reasons the last pair failed

Almost every complaint about height lifts is one of two things, and both are design faults rather than bad luck. The first is hardness: a rigid wedge concentrates your weight on a small patch of heel, and after an hour you can feel exactly where that patch is.

The second is migration. A loose wedge sitting on the footbed has nothing holding it, so it creeps forward while you walk and you end up standing on the edge of it. That is what changes how people walk, and it is why knees start complaining.

This answers both by being one moulded piece: soft silicone for the first, and a heel cup that grips your foot for the second. It is on you, not loose in the shoe, so there is nothing for it to slide against.

Try it the way you'd have tried the last pair

Pull it on

Onto the bare heel. It grips your foot rather than sitting loose in the shoe.

Sock, then shoe

Ordinary sock, ordinary shoe. Nothing needs sticking down.

Walk on it properly

A full day, not five minutes. That is when the last pair failed, so that is the fair test.

Soft, and moulded in one piece

An illustration of the section, not a customer photograph. The point of it is the taper: the wedge is thickest under the heel bone and runs out to nothing at the arch, so there is no step for the edge of your foot to find.

What we can and cannot promise

We can tell you what the object is: soft medical-grade silicone, one moulded piece, a cup that holds it on your foot. Those are the two things the pair in your drawer got wrong, and they are the two things we would want you to check.

We cannot promise it will be painless. A raised heel is a raised heel, and if your feet already hurt on flat ground, this is not the thing that fixes that. Anybody telling you otherwise is selling harder than we are.

So the deal is thirty days and a real test — a full day in real shoes, the same day that killed the last pair. If it ends the same way, email us and we refund the order.

Questions people actually ask

How is this different from the ones that hurt?

Two things. It is soft silicone rather than a rigid wedge, so the load spreads instead of concentrating. And it is a cup that grips your heel rather than a loose insert, so it stays under the heel instead of creeping forward while you walk.

Will it still slide around in the shoe?

It is not in the shoe. It is on your foot, under your sock, so there is no gap for it to slide in. That is the structural difference.

My knees hurt with the last pair. Will these be different?

Possibly, if the cause was standing on the front edge of a wedge that had migrated. If the cause was the raised heel itself, then no — and we would rather you started with the lowest lift and found out cheaply.

Can I wear them all day?

That is exactly the test we would ask you to run, on a normal day in normal shoes. Start with the lowest height even if you had a taller pair before; the geometry here is different.

Doesn't a heel lift shorten your Achilles?

A raised heel keeps the calf and Achilles slightly shorter while it is worn. Take them out at home, don't live in them, and stretch. If you already have an Achilles or foot problem, ask someone qualified before you buy.

The same day that beat the last pair
