The lift moves with you, not with one shoe. A wedge of a known height that pulls onto the foot, so every pair you own is levelled without a cobbler and without buying the lift twice.
Bullet 1 Three stated heights — the wedge is the figure that matters
Bullet 1 Wears on one foot, or both, whichever you need
Bullet 1 Moves between every pair of shoes you own
Bullet 1 Soft silicone, held by a heel cup so it cannot migrate

Sold as a pair — wear one or both
How to wear them

Pull the sleeve onto a clean dry bare heel so the wedge sits directly under the heel bone. Wear it on the shorter side, or on both if you want the height. Sock over the top, shoe on as normal. Rinse and air dry.

Heights

The wedge measures one inch, one and a half inches or two inches under the heel. That is the number to match. The larger figure quoted in this category adds the sole of an average trainer on top and is not what you are measuring against.

A white cotton sock being pulled up over a translucent silicone heel lift until none of it is visible

It goes on the foot. That is the entire difference.

Imagine every pair you own already levelled

One leg is shorter than the other. You have known for years, and you have the lift to prove it, glued inside the left shoe of one pair by a cobbler who charged you for the privilege.

So that one pair does everything. The wedding, the supermarket, the long shift on your feet. The others sit in the cupboard, because wearing them means walking unevenly and knowing your back will send the invoice by the evening.

Imagine instead the lift living on your foot rather than inside one shoe, so it simply walks into whichever pair you reach for.

ELVO™ is designed for exactly that.

Why one built-up shoe is the problem

A lift built into a shoe belongs to that shoe. You pay for it once per pair, it cannot be moved, and it quietly decides what you are allowed to wear.

This is a wedge moulded into a silicone sleeve that pulls onto the bare heel and grips it. It goes on the foot in the morning and it is still there whichever shoes you put on — trainers at the weekend, something smarter on Monday.

Because the heel sits in a cup rather than on a loose wedge, it stays under the heel instead of wandering forward inside the shoe, which is the usual complaint about the flat lifts sold in chemists.

How it replaces the built-up shoe

On the shorter side

Pull it onto that heel. Wear one, or both if you simply want the height — they are sold as a pair.

Sock over it

An ordinary sock covers it entirely, so nothing shows at the ankle.

Any pair you own

The lift is on you, so it comes with you to whichever shoes you reach for.

The heights, stated plainly

The wedge under your heel measures one inch, one and a half, or two — those are the figures to match against whatever you have been told you need. The larger 'total height' figure that this category quotes includes the sole of a trainer, and it is not the number that matters to you.

What we are and are not saying

We sell a wedge of a stated height. We do not diagnose anything, we do not prescribe anything, and we are not going to tell you what your difference is or what to do about it. If somebody qualified has told you the figure, match it. If nobody has, that is the conversation to have first.

What we can tell you is the practical part, because it is the part people write about: the lift you already own is stuck in one shoe, and that is why six pairs sit in a cupboard. Moving the lift onto the foot solves that and nothing else.

Our smallest wedge is one inch, which suits a difference of about that. If yours is much smaller, this is the wrong product for you and we would rather say so here than have you find out.

Questions people actually ask

Can I buy just one?

They come as a pair, and for a leg-length difference most people wear one and keep the other as a spare. It works out cheaper than having a single lift built into a shoe, and you get a second one either way.

Is this a medical device?

No. It is a silicone heel lift of a stated height. It is not prescribed, it is not fitted, and it does not treat anything. If you are working with a podiatrist or physiotherapist, take the height they gave you and match it.

My difference is smaller than an inch. Will it work?

Probably not, and we would rather tell you now. One inch is our smallest wedge. Under that you want something thinner than anything we make.

Will it change how the shoe fits?

Your heel sits higher inside the shoe, so a shoe that already grips at the top will feel snugger. Lace-ups cope best. If a pair is already tight, it will be tight.

Doesn't a heel lift shorten your Achilles?

A raised heel keeps the calf and Achilles slightly shorter while it is worn. If you are wearing one for a leg-length difference this is a question for whoever is looking after you, not for us — ask them, and take them out at home.

Thirty days, and an honest answer either way

Wear it through a normal week in the shoes you actually own. If it does not do what having the lift in one shoe did, email us inside thirty days and we refund the order.
